How do I hook up the gas tank to a 1960 Johnson Super Sea-Horse 40 HP?? I know stupid question but I am clueless with engines besides changing spark plugs.

You need an omc tank and omc single line with the 2 prong omc connector on each end, they push on till they click. Direction of fuel flow is marked on the primer bulb.

Where does the omc hook into the engine?

There should be a fuel line fitting on the right side of the motor looking at it from the front behind the throttle control.

it will be either on the right (most likely)or the left like my 63 starflite.it will only go on one way and make sure she clicks on there good,if not it will give you fuel flow problems.i myself have several merc tanks laying around and depending how i feel just put a omc end on the hose if need be ,no need to by a omc tank if you have something differnt!i think most omc,s are as btheking says though.
