Help!

Hello all,

I just bought my 1st boat, A 1973 14ft. Glastron with a 40hp Evinrude "Big Twin"...My problem is that this evinrude outboard came with out a prop. I have no idea what year it is, or what prop to get. i have the model and serial numbers. Any help would be great.

You may want to post this information over in the Jonnyrude o/b forum to find out what year and possible prop choices from the factory.

Welcome,Motor is a 73 I believe long shaft electric start.You may want to double check the shaft length.Is the transom about 20"?
The motor came with a 101/2 X 13 with optional available in 9"to14"
I think the 13 would be close for average boating, light to medium loads.
You should check with a tach and gps.
