Help with Year of Mercury engine

Hi......I searched the forums, tried the link to the foreign website....still can't find anything....I need to know the year of my Mercury I just bought so I can get a manual and figure out what parts I need...(the controls work, but the cables going from the throttle box to the motor are quite chewed up and are starting to rust). Serial # is 6433286. I went to the Mercury Parts Express and they don't have the parts I am looking for displayed, so if anyone could help with that, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Do you know the horsepower? Color of the stripes on the cowling?

Motor is a 75hp..........Has the cowling with the wrap around metal piece, and then the cap comes off......Brown and white lettering.......Boat is an 87', looks like the original motor, but could be a leftover or used from prior to that? Not sure....Just want to get my parts and a manual....any help is greatly appreciated!
