Are there any subs that I can use for these products or do I need to get them from my omc dealer ? Thanks for the help . JJb

I would get the BRP Gasket Sealing Compound. It works well for all of its uses, such as gaskets, pressed in seals, screw threads, etc.... It will be brown in colour and come with a brush built into the lid, and is pleasant to work with. The type M sealant is no longer available, Scotchgrip #847 is now used for metal to metal fits.

I have been advised against using Permatex or silicone on any outboard engine.

Isn't the needle bearing grease just used to stick the impeller pin in? Any grease will do that...or Vaseline. You can get Generic Moly Lube grease at any car parts store. I agree on the other two products, but it sure is tempting to substitute when just doing one job.

As mentioned, I use the OMC/BRP gasket sealer on all kinds of gaskets, not just outboard. It is quality stuff worth having around.
