help with trim pump

1978 galaxie 22xl.

Just got my parts via ups from iboats.com

Question is, I am replacing the clear trim line from the trim pump to the lock out valve. How do I put this hose together?

Also, I bought the line from the pump to the transom plate I would guess it goes to, that one looks easy, just screw it in.

Now, is there a way that you need to fill the system with fluid and bleed it?

If there is, what is the way to do that?

For OMCs you run it to full up/extended, then fill it. Run it down then back up, fill it. Repeat until it stays full, then run it full down/up a few more times to "bleed" it or get the air out.
