Help with tachometer for 94 polaris SL650

I found two tachometer kits minus instructions part number 2871102. Three wires yellow, orange and black. Can someone help with where they go?

I have a a 96 Polaris SLX sitting in the boat house and the owners manual on a bookshelf. I can take some pics if you tell me which areas you are interested in(handlebars, blackbox, etc). Won't be able to do it until the weekend though.
