Help with Product Definition

Hi,
I am working on a MerCruiser Sterndrive. I am replacing the bellows boots and gimbal bearing.
I want to be sure to order the correct parts but I cannot get a clear read of serial number from the sterndrive sticker. The number looks like DB344530.
Can anyone tell me if this is a number that makes sense? Is this a Gen I and Gen II?
Any information is appreciated.

If the numbers don't come up (I didn't check) it's just as easy to go by production date. Or look in the stickies at the top of the forum where there is a visual guide of how each can be identified.

a Alpha 1 will have nuts on the sides, and under the cav plate bottom ,
A Alpha1 GEN II will have 2 nuts and bolts on each side
trim cylinder are nuts and washers on Alpha1
trim cylinders are C clips and washers on GEN II
