I have a 1986 Sea Nymph with a 70 HP Mercury Outboard and a Mercury Quicksilver throttle control box with the key switch built-in. I was told the correct way to install a volt meter was to connect it to the ignition switch. Any idea how this would be done with a control box of this type ? I don't know where to find a manual for this box I tried to GoogleQuicksilver.jpg it, but I am going nowhere fast...

Thank you in advance for your help...

if you have gauges that turn on with the key (fuel gauge) then just jump the wires from there to the volt meter and you are done.
