Help with early hull number

I believe this could be a 71, only going by the engine decal and pics I've seen; do we know what this hull number says if anything. I guess you could call this a rescued boat and supposedly the paper work is some where with the last owner and they'll dig it out. You know how that goes! Hull no. C31160477-F7.
