New trailer for boat- tandem axle with two rear vertical bunks and two horizontal bunks in the front.

WHen loading boat the first time the boat wanted to load to the port side in the rear.

Once loaded the rear looks ok but the bow is off center on the winch roller a couple of inches.

Do I need to move the front of the horizontal bunks to the port side an inch or two?

My logic seems to be that this will center the bow and pivot the stern .

find center of the trailer, then set the bunks equal distances from the center line. add a set of guide on to the trailer. make sure everything is set from the center of the trailer.

I already have the guide posts-- I will double check the center alignment.
