Take a look at the stern and see if there's a HIN stamped into the boat. Or alternatively, your paperwork should have a HIN (Hull ID Number). It looks new enough to have one (post-1972). That way you can narrow it down some. If it is Canadian, I don't think it will have the HIN. That was required here in the States.
Interestingly, Monterey boats are actually owned by Seabring Marine. I don't know if it's the same Searbring though.
