Help with a part

I hope I can insert a pic! The motor 1975 Johnson 25HP mod# 25EL75B The part is on the shift lever its a nylon roller.It is on the left in the pic and again removed for the help I need.The nylon roller rides on the shift lock for F-N- R gears and the shift lock activates the neutral safty switch.
At any sites I look at schematics it doesnt show this shift lever?? Now for the pics??

Can you post a picture of the Outboard? Something that shows the mid-section. The shift lever you have looks like it came from a 1977 outboard it looks like the lever on my old 25 that I just sold. Are you the original owner and have you verified the the welch plugs on the power head match the serial and model numbers on the transom bracket. I am wondering if someone changed the transom bracket on that outboard.

Yeah someone has done some tinkering with that motor because that style shift lever came out in 77 as hidef has pointed out, the OEM part number for the nylon bushing is 0323493

Well the welch plug number matches the transom braket number.I did find the 1977 schematic, allthough it didnt show the extension with the peg and bushing, it did show the bushing.I found this motor in a barn,It was told to me when the lower went out it was put in the barn and sat there till I made a offer and bought it. It was put away in the early 80s. I was told the owners grand Dad had bought it new and when it quit he bought the 1985 35HP they yet use.

New F gear,R gear and bushings on both and a new clutchdog some cleaning and plugs,points coils and it has 105 &103 comp.it purrs and runs great.
