Can anyone ID these Mercruiser parts?

Bellhousing. 59813 stamped inside.

Top piece to same with the 2 controls on the top. 66059 stamped on it

Bellows. Either a 3 or an 8 first #. Looks like 36223A1

Thanks in advance, and much appreciated.

The 36223A1 is the number for the bellows, it's changed and is now an A2 instead of an A1.
The other 2 don't come up.

Re: Help wit Mercruiser parts numbers..

My Guess is,.........
It's the Flywheel Cover from an old 888,.......
A Ford motor,.. married to an old Model 1, or Pre-alpha......

The Motor Mounts on the other side look Wide,...... Pre-alphas are 15"s........
The Alpha 1 drives are 9"s........

And,.... The Shift Bracket looks like 1 I've seen before,.... Probably had the Anti-Kick up switch/ valve mounted on it too.........

Just a Guess though............d:)

Mr Bond, a mission if you decide to accept it! Heres a pic of the top controls. I got a bunch of Merc parts at a sale, and although that one lever (has a springy wire on both sides) is broke, I got a few new NOS ones. Trying to find out what it works with so I can sell it cheap to someone who needs it. Hate to throw it away. Have the flywheel too. A friend also (thought) told me it looked like a 302 was what it went too. A pic..

I Might Possibly have 1 outback,....
If I Do,+ If I can load the pictures,..... I'll do that......

Problem I'm having is that my Harddrive Crashed,+ I'm starting with a Clean Slate,+ Only an Operating System,.....
I haven't had to do what I'm doing in a Long Time,+ the CRS is giving me fits......

I'll see what I can do.......

Re: Help wit Mercruiser parts numbers..

I guess what you are going to have to do is determine what that flywheel housing fits. Ford 302 or Chevy 305. Just find a Chevy SB engine somewhere and see if it fits.
The reverse lockout mechanism on top looks was used on either the 888 (Ford) or 898 (Chevy).
I did find a line drawing in a Merc manual of the flywheel housing and the hole pattern and overall shape is the same, but the part numbers aren't even close to your 59813 number. However, in the 888 catalog, the part number for the FW housing is 59823.

Re: Help wit Mercruiser parts numbers..

I GOT to get a post editor...Seems I have 59823 written down, and so I go ahead and type out a "1" instead of a "2". Damn....getting old. Anyway, looked at Doug Russell and parts # is 888 302 Ford. This has a Half Tin back plate, and thats throwing me off. Chevy shows a Half Tin. DR shows a full Tin on Ford. Anyway, no big deal. Where right in the ballpark now. Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated!
PS. Hey Doc, ya wanna make some matching book (manual?) ends with these 2? Sell them on Ebay for big bux!
PPS. Bondo, I feel your pain...I have a Laptop I want to feed to the sharks at the moment....love the internet, hate computers!
