Help! Which Garmin fish finder?

Hello Everyone<br /><br />I just recently purchased a used boat. It has already the base with all the wiring for a fish finder. I have looked at the base and it says Garmin. The boat is a 1995 model. Can anyone give me direction on how to find the correct fish finder that will plug directly onto the existing base? This would save me a lot of work (not having to re-wire) and allow me to go finding the fish sooner. I asked the former owner and they know nothing about it.<br /><br />Thanks in advance..............<br /><br />......Don't worry be happy........

I would go to www.garmin.com, and post your question to their tech support. They are very helpful.<br /><br />If you could e-mail them a picture, that would help, and any other numbers that identify the bracket.<br /><br />But even without information, they should be able to steer you in the right direction.<br /><br />Garmin's web site also has pictures, so you may be able to see the finder bracket in one of the pictures.<br /><br />It is probably the same wiring connector for all units, but different mounting brackets.
