HELP! What is this worth??

I have a 1978 Johnson 55HP for sale for parts. I have a couple of people that want to buy it, but I dont know what price to put on it. I have already sold the lower unit, but eveything else is there and works as far as I know, I think the thing just threw a rod or something which made it a parts only engine. There is also a shop manual with it. <br /><br />Can you guys give me some idea of what it is worth??<br /><br />THANKS!<br /><br />Matt

Hey, Wask. Don't misunderstand, but it's worth what you can get someone to pay. To a guy with a bad carb, ignition system, etc. it's worth a lot . . .couple hundred??, to a guy who may someday need the parts, but doesn't need them now, maybe fifty.<br /><br />Good luck.<br />Red sky at night. . . <br />JB
