Can someone please tell me what type of boat this is?

as i am thinking of buying it as a project and then using it for Fishing. I have been searching all over the web but have not seen another like it.

is this a safe sea worthy boat or shall i stay clear of it???

If it floats, its a boat....If it sinks, its an anchor....

Looks like it might turn into a nice little project, if your looking for a project. Otherwise, you could do a hair more money and alot better shape and go right to the water.

Well it's definitely going to be your boat after all that sanding, but if you are prepared to do the work it's gonna turn out to be a little dandy:)

I would NOT want to use that boat for fishing because of the round chines. It will feel very tipsy everytime someone moves a muscle, like a canoe. I prefer a flat-bottom boat for fishing in protected waters for stability. If you are going to fish in the ocean, then consider a wider beam boat with semi-V or modified-v hull. Good luck!
