Help w/ Model No.

I have what I believe is a 1989 Johnson 25 HP. I got the motor from an estate sale so I don't have a lot of information. Unfortunately the plate where the model number and serial number is missing. Is there any way to identify the model number with any other numbers on the powerheard, etc?<br /><br />Thank you.

Check on the welch plug. I think it is on the right side of the power head. (facing the spark plugs) It's about the size of a quarter.
