On my '97 honda bf50a the titt/trim stopped working and the trim motor case is rusted and badly swollen from rust... i've removed the lower and upper pins (bolts) but i still can't dislodge the lower arm, as if it's captive. It has wavy washers on either side of the lower support arm.
I tried a 5lb persuader, but no luck... is there a trick to getting the hydraulic unit out so i can replace the electric motor? It seems to be wedged inside the outboard bracket...

Thanks for any ideas you may have!

Sorry... it -is- off. The motor's supported in the up position... both the top and bottom bolts that go through the unit are removed, the top is completely free . The bottom won't come free even if i whack it with wood.
