Trying to find out model/year in attempt to work on L/U. Here are the pics

That looks to be early to mid '80's but if you post a model number that would help us pinpoint it for you.

Thats the problem unfortuneately. The only markings I find is the silver disk on the starboard side of the block G3645621, long shaft/ rope start. I needed to know mainly in case my impeller was bad, but it looks like it is NIB shape, not sure why water wont pump?

Not sure...but it looks very similar to my '94 20 hp "Rude.

Does yours have the shifter in front. I thought it might be mid 90's but cant find any markings

I'm not sure if yours is a '94...but I think we're in the ballpark. Identical parts may have been used for several years for some parts but not others.
