Help to identify this boat

I have looked at a couple Manufacturer's Identification Code Database sites but have not been able to ID my boat. The serial on the stern is AFCA7143M78L.<br /><br />Any ideas??<br /><br />thanks!!<br /><br />-Bryan

According to your Hull Identification Number and the Coast Guard, AFC indicates the manufacturer (MIC code), A7143 indicates the serial number, and M78L indicates it was manufactured in Dec. 1978. Checking the MIC code, AFC was assigned to Australian Flight Craft USA and was in business from Dec. 1982 until June 1990. This doesn't work with your manufacture date of Dec. 1978. The Coast Guard refers also that AFC was American Fiberglass Co., 47 Homestead Ave., Stamford, CT, which perhaps bought Australian Flight Craft?? Is your boat and open fiberglass boat?
