The boat is a 93 22' Starcraft Islander that is leaking while under way. With the dog house lifted the water can be seen flowing in from the front. The boat can float all day at the dock and stay bone dry so I am thinking it has to be rivet related.
This boat is in great shape with no visible whacks/dings below the water line.
It sits on a single axle trailer and I would like to try putting some colored water into the boat and look for the leaks, so my question is how much water can I safely add? 100 gallons...200 gallons??? I will of course block the trailer.
I had a 1984 19' Islander that I know was not babied and was pretty much bone dry after all day on the water so to have this happen to my MUCH nicer 22 footer is...well...frustrating!!
