HELP! swapping 62 evinrude lark V parts with a 63

Howdy.<br /><br />I have a 1962 40hp Evinrude Lark V,and i need parts. I found parts for a 1963 40hp Evinrude Lark V on the internet(Recoil,starter,generator,and carb.)can i use these i don't want to buy if they won't work.<br /><br />Any help would be great thanks. :D

Here's a best guess without comparing parts manuals: yes to all parts listed, with possible exception of carb. But if the carb linkages aren't quite right, the parts are pretty much interchangeable. If it's a good deal, I would go for it -- add it to your parts inventory.

Yup. You won't have any trouble swapping parts between those two Big Twins. Virtually everything is interchangeable.
