(HELP)Summer Bass hunting

I from Texas fishing Lake Conroe 21,000 acre manmade Lake inpounded in 1973.The water is moderatly stained to muddy.I've been fishing 3 times in the last two weeks with no luck at all,fishing depth from along bank to 25' deep throwing everything from worms,spinner,crank, lipped bait and jigs.Have tried humps in 20 feet to ten feet water,flooded timber in 4 to 15' and weed lines just off bank in 1 to3' all with no luck.I concider myself pretty good bass fisherman with alot to always learn but can't figure this place out.I'm use to fishing crystal clear water in central Texas As seen on my web page I've done ok. http://go.to/tenacrewoods Any advice would be appreciated.<br /> Thanks!<br /> Mike E

tenacrewoods, friday i start my vac.Im going to fish at night with topwater lures.Ive done real well at night this time of year. Find the noise'est part of the lake, frogs, crickets,and start their. Buffalo '66

Try a red spinner with a leach on it. I just got back from N Minn. and slayed em. I'm more of a muskie person but those bass are sure fun to catch.

HMMM tough situation. If the water is warm and I mean warm you may not have fished deep enough. Otherwise it sounds as if you have done everything I would have so far. Now is the time to ask the locals you know the type the fellows that are regulars at the tackle shop. The retired guys that spend weekdays fishing.

we have a few texans here, and i believe jb,495 or ranger might be able to help, if they catch this. i don't know what to add, other than -have you tried night fishing? if you could find some weeds in 8+ft that might work. no bites off the humps? hmmm, they musta had lockjaw when you were there
