Help still no spark

Hi guys i know i,m on here a lot asking for help with my 1960 johnson 5.5 and i'm sorry if i am a bother
bot i'm at my wits end i have replaced wires,coils,points,conditioners and still no spark have set my points enormous times from 20 to 30 held my hand on plug hopeful when i pulled rope it would jolt me,nope please someone tell me what am i doing wrong?

Hi guys thanks to everyone's help i got spark
hate to admit this but if it helps someone else then it is worth my it, prob was i had the coils on the wrong points
now good fire,But while
I'm here i found out not getting gas or some thing cause when i spray gas in the tub going to carb it runs for a couple seconds what can i do? thanks

Gee, I was kinda lookin forward to how that hand on the wire spark test went.

Now? Clean the carb and change the hoses.

Well the hand on the spark is when you are desperate and yes quit a jolt but worth it thanks
And as far as the carb i have already done that took off and clean
Now do you mean the hose that run to the fuel pump? Thanks

not sure if its what Jim meant but check for fuel flow to carb.

I heard of a mechanic at the weekend who used to kill a cars engine by putting his arm along the four leads, not for me to try, prefer going to the key.

Yes that's what I meant. And if your fuel hoses are old they can make a nice clean carb dirty again in no time. I used to think folks who said you need to replace all old fuel lines were talking overkill till I saw how much black gunk they can put into a freshly cleaned carb.
