I purchased a used boat about two months ago. I have had nothing but trouble with it. It is a 2005 16ft triton bass boat with a 150 Mercury optimax on it. The problem I am haveing is that when the boat is setting idling its the smartcraft says that it has 11.8 volts, then when I go to plain off it drop to about 11.4 volts, but the battery never gets recharged and by the end of the day I'm down to 11.1 to 10.8 volts. With this awful beeping from the smart craft. I took it to my local service guy and he hooked it up and it came back that the alternator was bad, so I replaced that and got a new AMG blue top battery. I took it out again and it still not keeping a charge and the beeping is making me crazy. Help please!!!
