Help please! 5 wires

I have a 1984 Mercury with Powere Tilt and Tirm , its a 75 HP. The serial # on the motor is # 6559348 and the Controls have the words QuickSilver on the side of it! My question is there is a plug on the front side of my controls that goes to the dash that has 5 wires coming from it. the wires are purple, Blue, Grey with Blue stripe, Brown with white stripe and I think the last one is white.

Can someone please tell me where or what these wires hook up too!
