HELP!!! no spark, 4.3 volvo.

ok here is a run down.
4.3 volvo penta, spark is going to distributor cap but not coming out to the wires.
i have... changed distrubitor cap, ingnition module. still nothing. the starter spins just fine.

what is rotor...., and yes it ran before then i shut it down then it did not start again, no spark coming out of sparplugs, but spark is coming from wire going into distributor cap.
its a 99 volvo 4.3 sx

Did you change the rotor?
What model & year is this Volvo 4.3? Not all 4.3's are the same.

More info will be a plus.Year would be nice.

Did the motor run before you did this.Did it have a problem?.Why did you do this work?

If you did replace the rotor check it with an ohm meter.I've had 2 that the center of the rotor was not electricaly connected to the arm contact.But that's rare.

haha now i know what the rotor is i need to go ahead and change that , then i ll post. maybe it will work
