Hi i have recently bought a boat and the engine was running what seem to be fine we knew it needed a oil change so me and a friend went out last week to pull the boat up on the beach to change the oil and have a good look at the boat well we couldn't get the engine to start my friend towed us to the beach and we changed the oil and still nothing so we removed the cover found a fuse had been blown so we replaced that still nothing put fresh petrol in and the engine seemed to want to start but then just dyed after a few seconds had a another friend who is good with engines have a look he said there is no spark on the plug we have charged the battery and since been back to try that still nothing please can someone give me some tips or pointers to get this fixed am in portsmouth could it be the coil ???? how would i know
