Help! Need tiller handle for '63 Merc 6.0

Any folks with old Merc parts out there? I am restoring a 1963 Mercury 6 HP which is missing the tiller handle. (It will be pretty hard to stear with the wooden handle I made.) I AM STUCK IN CAPS I AM NOT YELLING!<br /><br />LOOK FOR ANY BOAT STORAGE PLACE AND OLD MARINA (OLD REAL OLD,) THEY HAVE LOTS OF ABANDONED BOATS AND OLD ENGINES THAT PARTS WERE SCRAPED FROM, ASK ON OF THESE GUYS, IF YOU CAN THEY WILL LET YOU LOOK THREW SOME OLD SCRAPED MOTORS FOR A TILLER HANDLE!

I would love to go rummage, but I live up here in the hills of North Carolina, not a lot of old boat junkyards. Anyone else?

Try Ebay, I've found most any part I needed for my old Mercs there....
