help Need dememsions on part number 3851083

Can anyone supply dememsions for allignment tool 3851083 for volvo penta outdrive.
I got the allignment checked by a progessional. It looked good. Gimbal bearing was in good shape but, the gimbal bearing has no external fiting to grease the bearing. Volvo changed that part. And universal joints do not have fittings to grease either. I guess sealed bearing and sealed ujoints are the latest. I guess just every two years take out the outdrive and grease all I can. Any help on the dememsions and other info on the gimbal and ujoints help would be appreciated. Thanks

After checking the allignment tool the repair guy had I checked the ods and smallest dia was 1.005 the next was 1.373 and the next was 1.495 on the tool he had. The dememsions on this tool has a od inbetween the the 1.005 and 1.375 of (1.150) hmmmm possible the same ???

It looked like the 1.005 went into the spline of the coupler and one the larger dems went inside of the gimbal bearing.

What outdrive do you have, and what year?

It is 2008 volvo penta cobra sx outdrive. It has 5.0 engine

Are you sure it's an SX, or is it an SX-A Big difference. Do you have an engine serial number handy?

nope at work... I believe its a sxa. But I was wondering if the extra step the 1.150 makes it universal for more than the outdrive I have, because the tool that was available this past weekend was 3851083 and it checked the allignment ...just didnt have the 1.150<<<2nd step up. Thanks for working with me on this hopefully we can get it defined.

yupp it is (sx-a 1.60) is on the tag on the motor. Still wondering if the one od in the middle as I described earlier makes it universal to do mine and another type?
Just a thought.

The center section is basically an unused part.

Also, there is no grease zirk on that drive, Volvo now uses the maintenance free sealed bearing. No reason for a zirk. same with the ujoints.
