We just bought a 1991 Sea Ray 310. So I will try to make this simple, It has a fridge that im guessing is about 5-7 amp draw, a microwave that is 1000 watt, a central vacuum system ( not sure of draw but Im thinking its alot, 10????), it has a 6 gallon water heater, GPS, Sonar, 40 mile radar, ice maker (another biggy 10???) CD/ radio 12v, and it will have a 25" DVD/TV.... It has an Onan 4000W Genset and two standard marine batteries (group 27 I think?). both for starting. I just bought a ProMariner 1240 C3 Battery charger 3 bank. I am thinking that I will get four 235 AH Trojan Golf car batteries and a 2000W inverter. I will keep the 2 marine batteries for starting the engines. We have the boat moored with shore power. When we go out we usually eat and have drinks, so the fridge, microwave, lights (2 or 3), and TV will be used when we are out. IF we decide to use the stove or heat water we will use the genset as we will be at anchor if we are using them. We would like to keep the fridge running and the ice maker on ( its suppose to pause when the tray is full) the TV may be on and a few lights. I believe the boat use to have an inverter in it previously so im hoping the panel is already set up for it. The boat is in the dry dock having the transmissions rebuilt with some other work done and Im sure that they will have the answers for me BUT I would like to be educated about this subject when I present it to them to do the install. Also I am planning on a pure sine wave model. Ok so words of advise for me???? Thanks for any advise in advance..........Also what brand of inverter has been good to you?

Oh the boat has twin BBC 454s. I am assuming maybe twin 65amp alternators ? I will check that Monday.
