Help me find what yr motor i have.

Cant find the model number. But i have the serial.

Its a 35 hp evinrude big twin

Guy said its a 1950 but i thought its newer.

Ser. 250-221-4008

Is there a way to tell ?

Maybe you have a funny way of writing the number?? 25022 is a 1956 30hp Big Twin.

I havent picked it up yet Salvage yard has one for 50 bucks. They said it runs good then tested it and said it was missfiring at low speed.

I figure for 50 buck's and it runs why not.
( hoping that its just a dirty carb problem)

Its worth more just for parts.

Oh and they didnt look for the model number. ONly the serial. And it might be a 30. Who knows ive never been to the salvage yard.

Ill post more im sure once i have it. X my fingers its good. Been needing one for my sport lido thats not a damn long shaft! THats the only boat i can launch with our wheeler. ( have to launch in our yard in a steep hill.)

On an old Evinrude, the first four or five numbers in the serial number are the model number.

It probably has cracked coils. They all do unless they have already been replaced.

Im sorry about the way i wrote the numbers any clue as to what HP and yr it is ?
