Help me change my water pump

I have a 1996 Honda 90 4 stroke. I'm down the Baja without a service manual can anyone help walk me through changing a water pump impeller?

O.K.,let's get started.Tilt the engine up and look at the gearcase. You will see 4 14mm bolts on each side of that gearcase plus one more underneath just in front of the trim tab.Those five bolts ,nuts,or combo of the two,depending on if you are a long ,or xl, are all you have to remove and the gearcase is readdy to come down.After they are out or off ,a few taps on the tailstock with a soft heavy mallet and the gearcase should come down.Let me know if you are with me so far.

you can pull up parts diagrams at boats.net...that way you can get a visual before you dive in

O.k. I got it off . then I spaced out and didn't pay attetion on the way it should go back on.Can you help? It looks in good shape but the key way looks a little warn. Could you suggest any other reasons I would not get water coming out of the pee hole.

O.k. got on boats.net but they have never heard of a honda BF 90A with my serial number BBBE-1010240.Can you tell me how to make sure I have impeller on the right way.I spaced out and did not pay attention....I'm in Mexico and maybe to many cervaces:

You've gotten that all down and back together.Nice job.The next question is ,ARE YOU GETTING HOT?Remember ,that telltale is just a comfort item and no reflection on how this engine is acctually cooling.It can be really easy to misalign that water tube to the pump.Under any circumstances you should see water dribbleing from the prop hub and at the exhaust relief at the anodes above the cav plate.

O.K. I'm going back out to the desert to put it all together.I will let you all know, and thanks to everyone for the help.It was great to have someone to discuss this with.The boat is out in the middle of nowhere(paradise) and it was a lot of help to talk to someone that knows!
