HELP JOHNSON WON'T GO??

1987 60hp. motor would only run for about 15-20secs. run out of gas?? replaced the VRO pump.. now will run at idle but not under power?? will rev up on trailor! but not in water under load?? kan anybody help me out?? thanks!!

Start pulling sparkplug wires when you have it running and identify any cylinder that are not firing.

Sounds like you may have some clogging in your carbs. They may need to be cleaned and rebuilt.
