Help identifying Year of Engine

[Paddle all day]

Looking for help identifying Year of manufacture of my Force 70Hp outboard.
cant upload photos, but on the leg label Model 706X91C on the inside of head housing, 100-819372-C
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most ask for a model or serial#

They assign a model# and when they make a change they assign a new #

Even something as simple as a wire tie or different hose clamp can get a new model#

Most hard parts, impellers and gaskets etc are all the same but always make sure of the parts you order.

Some time in 1989 they changed the water pump.
Lots of people couldn't figure out why the impeller they bought wouldn't fit?
Always double check.
