I just acquired this boat last week and I need help identifying its model.

Its a Chrysler and I'm assuming it's around a 76 model as that's the year model engine on it and it doesnt look like it's ever been repowered with a different brand of outboard.

From my research it appears to be a Chrysler Commando 300, which to my understanding is a 19-20ft boat.

Does any one have ANY information on one of these? I'm missing the original fuel tank (I think) so any in depth pics or info would be greatly appreciated!

My pics are too large so ill provide some links to the boat.

You can do a little lookin' HERE and HERE, I can't tell if they're going to really help or not. But the Commando is in the listing on the second site. There is (or used to be) something of a following of Chrysler boats, but I don't know of any owner's clubs or anything.

Assuming the tank was built in to the boat, the tank itself was not "Chrysler." If you're looking for original parts lists or that type of thing, you won't find them. They were never really made for hulls, as boat hulls are mostly laid by the manufacturer and rigged with purchased parts. If the tank was a portable tank (that's what our old Chrysler 20 had), then you just need to match up fittings and buy a new tank.

Welcome aboard.
