help identifying sailboat

Hi,
My parents recently bought a lakehouse which included an old sailboat. I cannot find any nameplate or other identifying information other than the sail logo pictured below. I was hoping someone could help me identfiy this boat, or direct me to resources that could help me. It is ~10' length, flat bottom, daggerboard, with gunter rigging with a boom. Thanks!

It looks like an alumacraft s-12. There are two more recent posts on here about it. I just got one for my 11 year-old daughter to play around in. Have you sailed yours?

Since the original poster never came back to this site after posting this over a year ago, I doubt he is waiting for an answer.

Might want to look at the dates of threads before you answer.
