I'm new to the boating/outboard world, but not new to engines. I've tried (in vain) to find an answer using the search function, so here goes.
Can someone ballpark the year of the merc below? The owner hasn't provided a serial number so this is all I have to go with for now.
I may go look at this boat (to purchase) depending on what feedback i get from folks like you.
