help identify trailer

this trailer is a single axle with st 185x 80 D 13" tires. the nomanclature plate, all the numbers have disapeared with age, so I don't know the GVWR or even the make. The VIN number is gone. the only reference I have is the previous owner registration in which the "make" say's SHO. so maybe shoreland'r? . the boat is a 17' bowrider I/O Beachcraft. I need to weigh the rig and be sure the trailer is the right one. It seems to be a little light in the front end. any help would be appreciated. thanks

adjust the boat or the axle to accomodate the proper tongue weight.

thanks for the reply, I will play around with the axle. I have deterimed it is a Shoreland'r. however it is an 1982 and going to their web site, I still can't tell what model it is.
