Greetings, I purchased this boat last year, have had fun with it but do not know the model or specifications. Can anyone identify this craft? I know it is a Chrysler, the title says its a 1974. But does not give a model or model name. I am told it is 16ft when I bought it but have seen some that look like it that are advertised as 14 foot I have not measured it myself. Any help would be great. It also has a 1974 Mercury 500 thunderbolt that runs pretty good. Pic was taking in October in Tampa, my little bro is driving. Thanks

It's a 1974 Chrysler. It may have been modified to take out the dual consoles, back to back seats and bow seating area, which was popular with the "tri-hulls" of the era. growing up, there were dozens like that on the river. It looks like you have a better set-up. floor looks new, too; I don't recall them being carpeted back then but I could be wrong.
The thunderbolt 500 is a classic motor and runs like a scalded dog, although it can be very temperamental and hard to work on. (I have a 200). One thing to check--the wires that run upunder the flaywheel have cloth insulation, which deteriorates, causing a short against the block.

Looks like a nice rig for scooting around the bays and rivers, and you should be able to pull a skier. Have fun, adn welcome to the forum!
