Hello I am currently restoring my aluminum boat and need help with how to take the cables away from the motor.

Do all those nuts need to come off or just the thick cable from picture #2? Does that cable go through to the other side where it connects to that joint? I just want to be safe as to what I am touching. It seems pretty explanitory but I would like to verify before I go ripping apart anytthing.

Thanks

Kind of thought this would be easy for the outboard guys, but guess they missed it. I'll take a stab at it, and maybe they will come in to fill in what I leave out or say incorrectly. It appears to me to you just disconnect the cable from the link on the right, then loosen the nut on the left and the cable should come out

Lets leave it for now to help the next one looking. AD has such a nice simple drawing showing what to do.
