Skip here's what I come up with for your motors.<br /><br />Johnson Mod# 5D22B is a 1963 5 hp.<br />Model # 9R695 is a 9.5 hp 1969 Johnson<br />Merc serial number OA875857 is a 1991 3 hp.

CD22 is a 1965 6hp. Johnson <br /><br />9R69 is a 1969 9.5hp. Johnson <br /><br /> A875857 is a 1991 3hp. Mercury<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

Yeah, roger ob but he sez 6hp. an' the CD22 is 6hp. The other one was a Johnson so I figgered this one was too.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

They're both Johnson model numbers.I edited my post to read Johnson model # instead of Evinrude model #.Kencook site lists 5D22 and 5D22B as 5 hp 1963 Johnsons.<br />You are correct Hooty ,he did list it as a 6 hp ,but 6hp and the model number he listed don't gel.I figured the model number to be correct but then that's just a guess.
