Help determining this prop pitch

I found some local props for sale and was hoping someone can help me determine what pitch they are....also how did you determine or where do I find this information out. Here are the #'s

aluminum prop - 48-78-124-23
SS Prop 10-317 M14-17

Usually the final number is the pitch I believe the one beginning with 48 is a merc prop. The ss prop may be a 14 X 17.
