Help Decide on getting new one

Can you help me?
I have a 96 seadoo SPX with the 717 motor,
and I am looking for a new one.
My current one runs good and goes like hell, (really funny story how i got it for free),
but my parents are looking for some new toys for out at the cabin

I am really interested in the new RXP with the 215 HP motor,
or the 3ddi.

I can not decide.
How do these new ones compare to the old Two stroke power?

Anything I should know about these Two new ones?

i have no personal experiece with either of those skis. i will comment that the 3ddi don't seem to be to popular. i don't know why. i think it's cause it's not a standup, nor a sitdown. it's only a 1 person ski. so if ya want to ride 2 up, that aint it. + it's also old technology. one of the last 2 strokes left being mfg. the others are the kaw and yama standups + the yamaha gpr. good thing about the 3d though, is the dealers seem to be pricen them low as no one seems to buy one. can't say i've ever seen one at the lake i go to. lots of folks gettin the rxp. mighty fast i hear. seadoo may have it worked out. but they was prone to breaking a ceramic washer in the supercharger so i read. which when it breaks goes into the engine and don't do it no good. there is a fix for it by riva though i think. a metal washer. i think the rxp needs premium fuel too. + it's a gas guzzler.

if it were me. i'd be lookin at a yamaha fxho or a kaw. 15f. i had me a 02 fx140. the first of the four strokes. it treated me real well. didn't have any issues of consiquece with it in 245 hrs. it was a little boreing in the end though. the ho might be better for that with a bit more hp. i don't know. will say the fx140 i had was the best hull i've expereiced. man it eats waves for lunch. a very stable, seaworthy pwc.......it just don't spin out or get much air.......just my 2 cent worth.....good luck in yer quest........

hmmm well i am leaning towards the seadoo company.. and if i do im sure to look up more info on that supercharger so i can fix it before it happens (any links?)

and i was looking into the 3ddi cause it was part stand up part sit..
if i start leaning towards a stand.. what are some good names?

I was thinking the same thing and decided on the RXP. It is more money but that s the only negative.

I think I would have been bored with the 3ddi unless it could come with the 215hp engine.

I think I am going to be very happy once I break it in.
