Help confirm correct Mercarb kit

I just want to be sure I have the correct kit before I break the seal..Not exactly the $5 2 jet kit...
The motor is 88 Mercruiser 3.0 serial OC397611
Everything I looked up pointed me to this kit and the guy at West Marine came up with same kit out of the book. I do know the accelerator pump is the correct style.
I believe from reading I have the Mercarb version with the 1 needle screw.
The part that is making me unsure are the numbers on the carb I pulled off..I dont seem to find them to match up to anyhting .
they are
05924A-1 and below that 3401
Hoping someone can help to confirm

ALmost forgot, the kit I have is the Sierra 18-7098-1 "for mercruiser mercarb"

Just went through this with my 87 Mercarb. As far as I was able to determine there are two kits, and the only difference in the kits is the accelerator pump. the 2 cc has a straight shaft and the newer 4cc has a little right angle bend on the top. So if the accelerator pump matches you should be OK. IMH(and sometimes wrong)O

Ya thats about the same info I had. Guess I'll give it a go. I went ahead and ordered up a new float as well. All cleaned up and ready for assembly..
