Help a noob- grease seals and installation

Hello trailer pros- a couple questions from a beginner in trailer maintenance.

I bought new preassembled hubs to replace the old . Bearings and races all match but I am noticing a difference in the inner grease seal ID. One says 171255TC and the other 171255UC. Are these interchangeable? And anyone know the difference?

Also- looking at the picture of the spindle- the groove pointed to is where the face of the grease seal meets the spindle, is this normal?

Here’s the spindle. That groove is also marking the depth of the fully installed hub on the spindle- should it be seated all the way back to the next lip?

looks like it has a speedi sleeve on it already...replace it with a new one.

Those seals are interchangeable. One is a double lip and one is a triple lip
