Help! 4.3 bad.... Need a longblock. Where do I get one?

Tore my 4.3 down today. It has spun rod bearing and cylinder walls are pitted terriblely! Im gonna try and find a long block. Any ideas where i can find one for a great buy??

Some of the websites are mentioning "reverse rotatation engines" is mine reverse or normal?? Is there a difference in cranks or cams??

Its a typical 4.3 mercrusier in a 89' sea ray..

theres not much typical about boats...

a serial number to the motor and drive would help the "pros" here help ID the motor and drive for you.

I know you CANT use a automotive cam in a boat engine... not sure why, i think the lift and durations are different due to constant RPMs...

it has to do with cam even timing, you need the exhaust to close before the piston starts moving back down so the engine don't suck in water.
