rear top of engine should be a silver wire holder with 2 rubber plug connectors that hold a 30 amp glass fuse in each one. there a little pricey . and also along the driver side should be a car style blade fuse for the dash etc.. trace the wires to find that one .good luck but id either undo your wire hookup that you did before id put new fuses in to make sure theyre correct or other wise buy some extra fuses as may blow those if have a short or wrong hookup

Thanks you guys are great. I moved the boat to my house from Kerr Lake makes working on it much easier.

My boat is a 1989 Renken 25 ft Caddy Classic I cannot find the blade fuse for the dash. Could it be behind the dask inside head.

I found the fuse it was a 10 amp replaced it an now I have fire but sounda like it might be the wrong starter I told the company that I bought the starter that I had a 9 tooth starter but he said the 11 tooth was interchangable with it ,is it.

I would find a new company to buy starters from. The starter has to be a 100% correct match. Otherwise you may damage the flywheel. Not to mention it not turning the engine over properly. There are many variables with starters. Make sure you have the right one. You may find a reliable company to rebuild the one original one.
