Help 197?? 60hp chrsyler pump problem

197??? 60hp chrysler low seep pump spit like garden hose tow speed nothing at all motor at least 12" under boat... is there a thermostat ? if so maybe that the problem???

original post dont make much sense to me either. Thermostat is located on very rear of powerhead above the top spark plug.
