Can I run trolling motor transducer "XTM 9 HWT" with "Y" cable along with standard transom transducer without the use of a switch, just want one head unit and turn it around when up front. Want to make it simple as possible, hand controlling trolling motor. Thanks,,,,

Do you really think the image from the front transducer will be much different from the transom mounted transducer, unless you are jigging in a boulder field, or your boat is 40' long?

I just don't want to buy 2 head units,,,I have a 16' stick steer and would mount it on a swivel base,,,I want to use side image for bow which the HB Helix 5 has because I fish on the bow 90% and transom will use for on plane or all other???? I understand HB has a switch but can't find out for sure if I need it,,,,all I have read says from HB says using "y" cable eliminates use of a switch......
